Faryl K. Hart D.D.S. is a sleep dentist who provides CPAP alternatives for patients experiencing obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. Dr. Hart’s dental practice is a family focused, and all woman staffed, office serving patients in the great Richmond, Virginia area. In addition to providing comprehensive oral healthcare for each patient, it is Dr. Hart’s goal to enhance the lives and overall health of each and every patient who walks through her doors.
Dr. Hart’s staff treats each sleep apnea patient with the highest standards of compassion, dignity, respect, and medical expertise. Her staff works closely with referring doctors to help effectively manage snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Due to the potentially life threatening problems that can result from sleep apnea, it is crucial that patients implement treatment as soon as possible. In addition to providing diagnostic screening services for sleep apnea, Dr. Hart also offers oral appliance therapy which can be administered as a CPAP alternative or in conjunction to CPAP therapy.
Faryl K. Hart earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 1980. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1985 from the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Hart is a member of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetic and a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is currently certified as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider and is also certified in Basic Life Support as a Healthcare Practitioner.
Dr. Hart is extremely active with humanitarian and charitable organizations. Dr. Hart has donated over $15,000 worth of dental treatment through the Donated Dental Services organization since 2001 and has donated nearly $3,000 of dental services to children through the Smile organization. She also donates blood to the Virginia Blood Services, has participated in Operation Gratitude’s “Candy Buy Back” program since 2010, and has been performing oral cancer screening since 2011. Dr. Hart has also made donations to Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Nuckols Farm Elementary School, Deep Run High School, Short Pump Middle School, and to Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Hart has been married for 16 years to her husband Dave and has a 15 year old son named Luke and a 12 year old son named Jake. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking and baking.
