Video Overview

How can one get a better night's sleep? Some simple rules to follow include avoiding naps in the daytime. Avoid caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol two hours prior to going to bed. Have a regular bed time and awaking schedule and maintain that on weekends as well. Keep your room temperature cool between 68 and 72 degrees. Avoid anything that will elevate your body temperature prior to going to sleep such as a hot bath or exercise.
