Dr. Keith A. Kowal practices medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, with an extensive background in sleep apnea, head and neck injury, nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery, and pediatric and adult ENT procedures. Dr. Kowal has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1992. He has worked as Chief of Otolaryngology for 9 years at Fayette Piedmont Hospital, and currently maintains staff privileges with Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center, Spivey Station Center, Henry Medical Center, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Dr. Kowal is a graduate of Tufts Medical School. Following medical school, Dr. Kowal conducted his residency in Head and Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Kowal is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is Board Certified in Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. In his career, he has served at Columbia University as a member of the clinical teaching faculty. He has also served as Medical Director for numerous sleep laboratories and has given many medical presentations. Dr. Kowal is also in the process of obtaining board certification in Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Kowal has taken a particular interest in pediatric and adult sleep medicine. He explores both surgical and non-surgical options when assisting his patients with diagnosed sleep disorders. Dr. Kowal also believes in maintaining an open line of communication with primary care providers in order to fully address his patient’s needs.
