I suspect you have obstructive sleep apnea. You need a sleep test (polysomnogram) to diagnose this condition and see how severe it is to come up with treatment options. Your primary care doctor should be able to order this test and refer you to a local sleep center like ours or see a sleep disorder specialist to initiate this evaluation.

You may possibly have sleep apnea. A sleep study is a good place to start.

What you are describing could be Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome. In order to evaluate/treat this, you will need an overnight sleep study. You should be evaluated by a sleep disorder specialist to discuss your medical history and symptoms. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a consult with you.
