Do facilities conduct sleep studies for 3-year-olds? Do the kids usually sleep with all the equipment hooked up to them?

Sleep studies are performed on children of all ages from infancy until adulthood. Some sleep labs have a lower limit of age for performing sleep studies. Simply call the lab to inquire about the age limit. Children usually sleep well with the electrodes taped to their body. The overall lab experience should be pleasant with no discomfort.

A sleep study can be performed on young children usually in a pediatric sleep center to arrange for parents to stay as well while the study is being done.
